Setanta

Setanta are a family owned and operated winery that produce a meagre 4500 cases per year. Their vineyard sits at the cross roads between the Barossa, Eden Valley and Adelaide Hills wine regions, although technically it is included in the latter. They have a 40 hectare vineyard which has varied aspects and soil types, meaning they can play around with a range of grape varieties with great success. They produce riesling, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, shiraz and cabernet - each and every wine has undisputed class.

Of Irish decent, the family named their treasured plot after Ireland's most famous mythical hero, Setanta.

Incredibly hard to get hold of, we look forward to sharing these wines around.

We seek out and recommend the best wines from around Australia and overseas. Quality creations from boutique, family-owned and hidden-away wineries. You won't normally find these wines on the retail shelves and if you can, they're always in limited supply.  We call them ‘authentic wines from authentic wine families'.
