News from the home front.....

I've got some news on the home front today.
Marion, my partner, who many of you know as one of our talented 'Tipsters' and the pro bono author and photographer of our home recipe suggestions, is going to be in the auditions next week for the up and coming series of MasterChef on Channel 10 (it starts next Monday at 7.30pm).
There's been some astute members notice her on some of the promo's that have been running and got in touch to ask if that is Marion - well, the answer is yes!
So, if you're watching next week, cross your fingers for her! Apparently, the judges have said that the cooks are much better this year, so she'll be facing some tough competition.
I'll have fingers, arms and legs crossed down here in McLaren Vale!

Also, another of our friends (and Secret Vines member), Richard Gunner, who owns the super premium butcher Feast Fine Foods will be trying out as well. Feast are kindred spirits with us at Secret Vines - Richard sources some of the best produce in the country direct from farming families. Feast are meat suppliers to some of Australia's most famous restaurants, so my money is on Richard to bring out some sensational cuts of meat.
So good luck to Richard too!
