Mum is serious about her white wine and her seafood! As a joke, once we ordered her imported farmed prawns and Rosemount diamond label. We thought it was really funny until we missed out on a Chrissy invite that year.......
But seriously, Mum demands that the right wine for an occasion is never the same wine each time. Her nightmare is turning up to drinks at ‘one of the girls’ house to find ten NZ Sauvvy’s on the table. And here I thought varietal tastings were just for wine geeks.
