Marion is currently testing out her cooking talents in the Master Chef competition on Channel 10. Otherwise, she is an ex-ABC journo who’s gone back to Uni to study for her Masters in Gastronomy.

Having a ‘master gastronome’ around definitely has its advantages. The downside is the 3 different pant sizes required when you have a partner in a situation like this. But really, who cares? And at least I can say I wear all the pants in the relationship! But enough of that, if I keep going I’ll be referring to her as the Minister of War instead.

Marion’s just started a food blog which we’ll be stealing some recipes from.  But specifically we will be asking her to put our wines to the test with food.  If a wine’s no good with food, it’s no good here!

P.P.S  Marion here...Tim’s recommendation for my blog name was ‘On the Benchtop’.  Hmmm good thing he’s not the boss.
