2008 Gemtree Vineyards Luna Roja Tempranillo
What makes this Temp a stand-out is its layers of flavour. In our tastings we're noticing quite a few wines of this variety coming through with just the dark, dark fruit that Temp is known for. This isn't a bad thing, but a little boring in my mind. The ‘Luna Roja' has more dimensions to it - red current and cherries lift the standard blackberry and choc centre to a whole new level.
Luscious, ripe and perfectly seamless. It's got great length and lashes of enticing flavour. Decant and enjoy!
