Sue Trott is the owner of Five Geese and and one of Australia's few long established female grape-growers. The fruit is sourced from her Blewitt Springs vineyard planted in 1965 and let me tell you, it's a magnificent vineyard to behold.
At six years of age, the wine has developed superbly. It's got a long savoury spine that is engulfed in the most luxurious of tannin that is both soft and very firm. It has near perfect proportions and is drinking extremely well now but it will age comfortably for another 15 years or so.
Decant this prior to drinking.
